RANCHO ALAMITOS and Huntington Beach High got wins on Thursday night (Shutterstock).

Teams from our West Orange County area posted two wins and two losses in non-league football action on Thursday night.

Rancho Alamitos (3-1) defeated Godinez Fundamental (2-3) by 24-7.

Huntington Beach (3-2) bested district rival Marina (2-3) by 45-20 and Los Amigos (2-2) lost to Viewpoint High (2-2) of Calabasas by 49-14.

Next week, Rancho Alamitos against visit Corona High, while Los Amigos will visit Artesia. Huntington Beach will have next week off and be back in action on Sept 29 opening Sunset League play against Newport Harbor.

Marina will be hosting Aliso Niguel next week.
