A woman undergoing treatment for mental health issues is facing charges of slashing the tires of nearly a dozen cars in Garden Grove.

According to authorities, Mary Cruz Berumen, 45, was charged this week with three felony charges of vandalism and six misdemeanor vandalism charges.

She allegedly vandalized the tires of five Toyotas and three Hondas along with three other automobiles .

This incident came after she accepted a plea deal in Orange County Superior Court in November in an assault case in which two men were shot with a BB gun.

She received a jail sentence of 60 days, but was credited with the 44 days she already served.
