CIF-SS Baseball playoff pairings were announced Monday (Shutterstock).

The CIF-SS baseball playoffs start this week and seven teams from our West Orange County area will be participating.

Play starts on Tuesday and Wednesday with wild cards on Tuesday and first round games on Thursday in Divisions 2,4,6 and 8 and Divisions 1,3,5,7 on Friday.
No local teams were seeded. The sole West OC team to get an at-large spot is Garden Grove. All games are scheduled for a 3:15 p.m. start. 

Division 1 (Friday)

Pacifica (11-6) at Aquinas (22-8); Santiago of Corona (16-12) at Huntington Beach (20-8).

Division 2 (Thursday)

Yorba Linda (13-13) at Ocean View (20-7).

Division 6 (Thursday)

Garden Grove (14-13) at Costa Mesa (21-6); West Covina (13-7-1) at Los Amigos (15-12).

Division 8 (Thursday)

Coast Christian (7-9) at Rancho Alamitos (14-9)

Division 8 Wild Card (Tuesday)

Bolsa Grande (13-10) at Rio Hondo Prep (11-7-1). Winner will play New Roads (11-7) on Thursday.
