A Garden Grove man on Friday received a sentence of 14 years in federal prison after confessing to “online exploitation” of more than a dozen teenage girls across the U.S.
James Styner, 20, pleaded guilty in a federal court in the District of Columbia to:
• one count of coercion and enticement of a minor;
• one count of distribution of child pornography, and
• three counts of receipt of child pornography.
The court documents state that Styner – starting at age 17 – engaged in online conversations with girls as young as 12, having sexual relationships with at least two underage girls.
“No man will be allowed to exploit, harm and victimize children under my watch,” said U.S. District Attorney Jeanine Pirro in a statement.
