An agreement for a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas in their two-year was announced on Thursday.

According to the Associated Press, the Israeli cabinet approved President Donald Trump’s proposal for a cease-fire in the Gaza Strip area and for the release of hostages held by Hamas.

However, the news of agreement was to an “outline” of a deal, not necessarily the details yet to be thrashed out.

The U.S. will send about 200 troops to help monitor the deal, and Trump said he expects the Israeli hostages held by Hamas to be released by Monday or Tuesday.

NY Atty. General Letitia James indicted

Under strong pressure from The White House, New York Attorney General Letitia James was indicted in the Eastern District of Virginia on charges of making false statements in the purchase of a home.

According to The New York Times, this is the second indictment brought against people that President Donald Trump considers political enemies. The first was former FBI Director James Comey.

The indictment accuses her of falsely claiming on loan documents that the home she was purchasing would be a second home but instead used it as a rental investment property.

A lawyer for James said his client “flatly and forcefully denies these charges” and said “this case is driven by President Trump’s desire for revenge.”

James has publicly sought to rally other states to oppose many actions by Trump that she considered illegal or unconstitutional.

Sports: Dodgers edge Phils; advance

The Los Angeles Dodgers scored on a throwing error that allowed Hyesong Kim to score from third in the 11th inning to win the deciding game of their National League Division Series by 2-1 on Thursday ay Dodger Stadium.

The Blue Crew, who won three of four in the best-of-five series, will next face the winner of the Milwaukee Brewers-Chicago Cubs series for the National League Championship Series.
