The “State of the City” event will be held on Thursday, June 25 at Stanton Central Park, observing the 70th anniversary of the incorporation of the city.

Hours are 6-8:30 p.m. at 10660 Western Ave.

The event will include music, food, a kids play-zone, photo booths, giveaways and entertainment by the That’s What I Like band.

It’s an opportunity to meet city council members and learn about projects in the neighborhoods.
