Police are asking for the public’s help in finding two suspects sought in the investigation of a murder outside an ATM machine in Garden Grove earlier this month.
The incident occurred on Aug. 6 at around 10 p.m. at 13952 Brookhurst St. (north of Westminster Avenue) near the automatic teller machine at a Bank of America branch. Fatally shot was Minh Le Anh Pham, 35, of Garden Grove.
He had used the ATM and was approached by two male suspects. One of them shot Pham and they fled in a vehicle described as a late model silver Nissan Xterra sport utility vehicle with a roof rack and a black hood. According to Lt. Carl Whitney of the GGPD, “the vehicle appears to be in stock condition. The black hood could be aftermarket or painted as a result of recent body work.”
Detectives are seeking additional witnesses to the robbery and homicide; they can be reached at (714) 741-5422. Information can be reported anonymously.
