BROOKHURST STREET was closed late Tuesday night between Hazard and Westminster avenues in Garden Grove as police confronted an armed and barricaded suspect.

Brookhurst Street in Garden Grove between Hazard and Westminster avenues was closed at about 11:30 Tuesday night as police dealt with an armed and barricaded suspect on 13th Street, west of Brookhurst near the southern city limit.

According to the Garden Grove Police Department, the suspect has fired one shot, but no one has been injured. Officers are at the scene and this article will be updated as more information becomes available.
