THE HIRING OF a financial consultant is on the agenda of the Garden Grove City Council when it meets on Tuesday.
An agreement for financial consulting services tops the agenda for Tuesday night’s meeting of the Garden Grove City Council.
The council will take up a contract worth $100,000 to Management Partners to provide the city with an in-house financial consultant pending recruitment and hiring of a finance director, a position now vacant.
Also on the agenda is approval of 36-month lease agreements with Enterprise Fleet Management for five undercover police vehicles, at a price of $93,000, and the second and final reading of an ordinance authorizing and regulating the operation of outdoor dining areas on Main Street between Acacia Parkway and Garden Grove Boulevard.
Not on the agenda was an item previously scheduled on the subject of possibly replacing the Garden Grove Fire Department with contract services with the Orange County Fire Authority.
The council meets in its chambers in the Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Ave. at 6:30 p.m. The next scheduled meeting is Oct. 23.
