Two persons were arrested Tuesday night in Huntington Beach in a knife attack on a woman in the downtown area.
According to the HBPD, the incident took place around 10:30 p.m. Arriving officers found a woman with a knife stuck in her abdomen. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment of what was described as a “non-life threatening wound.”
A search for witnesses and evidence indicated that two men had been involved in the stabbing, and a license plate match indicated a suspect vehicle. Officers sealed off a portion of Main Street and located the automobile.
Shortly afterwards, police found two people matching the descriptions of suspects given by witnesses.
Arrested were Brandon Lebrun, 23, of Glendora and Dominic Piraino, 19, of Covina. They were both booked into the HBPD jail for assault with a deadly weapon, and Piraino also faces an attempted murder charge.
