Evidence is sought by police

HUNTINGTON BEACH police are asking members of the public to submit evidence to help identify suspects in the downtown disorders last week (Dean Croscost photo).

The Huntington Beach Police Department has created an online evidence portal requesting the public’s help to receive photo and video evidence of criminal activity that occurred during the downtown unlawful assembly incidents that took place May 21-23.HBPD is looking for evidence of any and all criminal activity that may have taken place.

The public is encouraged to submit any photos or videos containing clear or partial visuals of suspect descriptions, faces, and identifiable clothing/accessories; vehicle license plates or vehicle descriptions; and identifiable locations and approximate times of occurrence.

The evidence portal allows the public to easily submit photos and videos straight from their mobile device. The evidence portal may be accessed at: https://HBPDCA.evidence.com/axon/citizen/public/21-006180 .
