A slow-speed police pursuit through Garden Grove and into Anaheim ended Monday with an arrest.
According to Sgt. Charles Starnes, GGPD officers were dispatched at about 8:12 p.m. to the area of Nelson Street and Lampson Avenue regarding a victim following his stolen vehicle.
The vehicle was spotted in the area of Chapman Avenue and Harbor Boulevard. An attempted traffic stop wasn’t successful and a slow chase continued through “various cities.”
Finally, in the area of Gilbert Street and Broadway Avenue in Anaheim a spike strip was used to disable the vehicle.
The suspect, identified only as a male Asian in his 30s, was arrested and the investigation is continuing.
