Firefighting units from four agencies combined to battle a fire Saturday at a Huntington Beach home. According to the HBFD, the blaze was reported at 12:02 p.m. at 14401 Spa Drive.
Firefighters from the HBFD, Orange County Fire Authority, Garden Grove Fire Department and the Fountain Valley Fire Department were able to extinguish the fire within 20 minutes. The fire was isolated to the garage and attic space above the rear bedroom.
There were no injuries reported. Property damage was estimated at $50,000, with the contents loss at $20,000. There was no damage to adjacent structures. The residents of the house were not at home when the fire broke out; they arrived during the firefighting efforts. They made arrangements to stay elsewhere, according to the HBFD.
