There’s a special meeting of the Huntington Beach City Council on Saturday, but don’t bother attending. Unless, of course you are seeking the job of city manager.
The council will meet in a closed session to conduct interviews for the city’s new top appointed official. The post was vacated when Fred Wilson, who served in that position for a decade, retired in May.
Currently serving as interim city manager is Dave Kiff. The meeting will be held in the Emerald Cove Room of the Pasea Hotel and Spa, 21080 Pacific Coast Highway beginning at 8 a.m.
