Rams can’t ground the Eagles

Even with Cooper Kupp back and healthy, the Los Angeles Rams (2-3) weren’t quite a match for the Philadelphia Eagles (5-0) on Sunday at SoFi Stadium, losing 23-14.

In Kupp’s return, he caught eight passes for 118 yards, and quarterback Matthew Stafford  overall hit on 21 of 37 passes for 222 yards and two scores.

The first half was closely contested with the Eagles managing to score just before halftime to take a 17-14 lead.

That was all the scoring the Ram could muster and Jalen Hurts’ running kept the Rams’ defense off-balance for the rest of the game.

Next Sunday the Rams will seek to even their record at 3-3 when they host the Arizona Cardinals/
