Residents of a Garden Grove home located in the 12500 block of Gloria Street – and their four dogs – escaped without injury from a fire reported at 2:24 p.m. Saturday, according to Captain Thanh Nguyen of the Orange County Fire Authority.

OCFA firefighters were able to quickly enter the home and knock down the fire, confining it to a single bedroom with only smoke damage to nearby rooms. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
