FRIDAY high school football scores for teams of interest to the Garden Grove-Huntington Beach-Stanton-area.

Rancho Alamitos won the 2018 Garden Grove League football title with a 42-14 win over Loara Friday afternoon at Glover Stadium in Anaheim.

The Vaqueros finish the regular season at 7-3 overall and 5-0 in the GGL. The Saxons, in their first season in the Grove League, finished 7-3 and 4-1.

Santa Ana (8-2, 5-0) won the Orange Coast League title with a 29-0 blanking of Orange (8-2, 4-1).

Los Alamitos (8-1-1) and Corona del Mar (8-1-1) finished in a tie for the Sunset League crown as both won and finished with 4-0-1 marks. The Griffs beat Edison 17-10 and CDM bested Huntington Beach 41-7. Edison (5-5 overall) will finish third with a 3-2 mark.

In the Empire League, Pacifica slammed Kennedy 42-14 to finish in a three-way tie for second place with Tustin and Cypress. All are 3-2 in league play. Cypress and Pacifica are 5-5 overall; Tustin is 4-6.
