THE GARDEN GROVE Planning Commission approved a new adult day health center (Shutterstock).

A conditional use permit to allow the operation of a new adult day health care facility was approved by the Garden Grove Planning Commission at its March 21 meeting.

The vote was 5-0 with commissioners Mark Paredes and Josh Lindsey absent.

It will be located at the Lambertian Ministry Center, 12191-12211 Magnolia St. (near Chapman Avenue). The center is operated in conjunction with the Christ Cathedral in Garden Grove.

The facility was previously the home of the Garden Grove Friends Church, originally the Alamitos Friends Church.
