An investigation is underway into the fatal shooting of a man in Westminster on Sunday evening.
According to Sgt. Alan Aoki of the WPD, the incident took place in the 14000 block of Goldenwest Street, just south of Westminster Boulevard.
Police responded to a call at around 7:45 p.m. regarding a gunshot victim at that location. Officers found a man – described only as a 30-year-old Hispanic – at the rear of a business having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
Personnel from Orange County Fire Authority Station 64 also responded and treated the man for his wounds. He was taken to a local hospital where he succumbed to the effects of the gunshots.
A suspect is described as a male Hispanic in his late 20s, bald and wearing a white T-shirt and black jeans.
