FOUR SUSPECTS will be in court next week to face charges Friday in the sexual assault of a 13-year-old Huntington Beach girl.
Four men accused of arranging to contact a 13-year-old girl in Huntington Beach for sex will face a pre-trial hearing and arraignment on Friday in the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana.
According to the Orange County District Attorney’s office, three of the four are accused of having sexual activity with the girl. The suspects are:
- Bradley Thomas Williams, 34, of Dana Point, charged with three counts of a lewd act upon a minor under 14 and one count of meeting a minor with intent to engage in lewd conduct;
- Sohrab Anaraki Pour Kamali, 33, of Topanga, with six counts of a lewd act upon a minor under 14, one count of meeting a minor with intent to engage in lewd conduct and one count of contacting a child with intent to commit a specified crime;
- Christian Reid Palmer, 27, of Sacramento: Seven counts of a lewd act upon a minor under 14, one count of meeting a minor with intent to engage in lewd conduct and one count of contacting a child with intent to commit a specified crime;
- Dwight Nicholas Castaldi, 42, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, accused of four counts of a lewd act upon a minor under 14, and one count of contacting a child with intent to commit a specified crime.
The investigation began on Sept. 13, 2016 when the HBPD sought four men accused of communicating online with a “Jane Doe” whom they believed was 13 or 14 years old. Police said that suspects used social media including Facebook, Skype, and Snapchat to contact the minor, and three of them traveled to the Huntington Beach area to engage in sexual behavior with the minor.
Williams and Kamali were arrested on Jan. 18, 2018 and Palmer on Jan. 21. A warrant was issued for Castaldi and his home in Palm Beach Gardens, where he was served and taken in custody by police there. On April 16, he was extradited back to California to face the sex crimes.
